Training Needs Assessment

The Training Needs Assessment builds the foundation for developing employees and ensures that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their current jobs.  It also ensures that the employees will be prepared for future technologies and job changes.  When employees are "empowered" with knowledge and have the confidence to do their job well, their job satisfaction increases.  This improves the bottom line, turnover decreases and productivity increases.  Training should not be a Band-Aid solution.  It is a very powerful and useful tool when used properly.  You need to be selective both in determining the type of training and who receives it.

Objective:

To establish the foundation for developing your employees by evaluating their current skill levels, determining what skills will be needed in the future and identify key contributors for future development to meet the needs of the organization.
